The Shanthine Pride (a.k.a. the Priid Suushahz, or "Pride of the Dawn") is a coalition of feline sophisticates, fiercely proud of aslaran cultural achievements in general, and dedicated to building an even brighter future -- a new dawn for their culture after the catastrophes that shook creation and scattered the aslaran people to the wind.

Shanthine revere Shanth as the greatest hero of the Vernal Wars, the savior of all mortal life, and they celebrate his sacrifices on a daily basis by seeking to live that life to the fullest.

Notorious sensualists, they surround themselves with the best of everything: food, clothing, jewelry, art... Yet the Shanthine consider themselves neither wild nor civilized, rather living somewhere in between, drawing on the best of both worlds.
